"We stayed here on our first visit to Annecy. I had never seen a town like it. Colourful homes, row on row. The whole town centre stopped in time, preserving the creativity of history. The air was cool from the snow capped Alps near by, and being May, the evenings stretched out in low light for hours longer than we've ever known."
