Collection: Commissions

Whether you're celebrating a birthday, a new member of the family, a memory you cherish or a place you love, gift your friends or family (or yourself) a gift that will last a lifetime! Commissioned paintings are one of a kind originals, hand painted with vibrant watercolour paint on quality 100% cotton paper.

So, What's the process?

Start by messaging me your interest at hello@brontesperspective.com and share:

  • your reference image or photo options of the image you would like painted
  • specify your preferred size (A5, 8x10inch, A3)

Need a little help? I will happily help you choose your reference image by advising if one or more may turn out better as a painting, and by sharing any alterations I can make to enhance the picture. (eg removing background people or bins. I can paint as if they weren't there!)

Once we have confirmed your image, size and details, I will then prompt you to proceed with payment safely via the website. Selecting either Small, Medium or Large in product options.

Once payment has been processed I will begin painting.

Paintings typically take 2-4 weeks painting time, however do let me know when booking if you have time restrictions and I will do my best to accommodate.

Once finished, you will receive your fine art watercolour original painting by Bronte authenticated and dated on the back, sent to you via the Auspost.

What materials do you use?

I paint on acid free 100% cotton 300 gsm hot pressed watercolour paper, which has the highest level of water capacity making it the best quality for watercolour fine art painting. Over my career I have accumulated a pallet of high pigment watercolour paint and love them for their boldness and range. Paintings are first sketched in pencil then pencil is often replaced with moments of fine tip black pen, before the paint comes in to bring it to life.

Uniquely Original:

Being that these are original paintings, brush to paper, hand made creations, some minor ‘imperfections’ may appear. By that I mean, a spot of colour or a slight smudge may end up along the otherwise clear border. Or the alignment of the painting may be fractionally favouring one side. These details are fixed up digitally for prints or digital art, but this is an original! I say ‘imperfections’ though many people feel those working marks are part of the beauty of an original painting.

Care and Safety

It is advised to seek out quality frames as some low quality frames can leave a yellowing residue on the paper over time.

Avoid displaying your painting in direct sunlight as the sun will bleach anything it shines on repeatedly over time.

I take a high quality scan of all paintings, so if disaster does strike and your painting is damaged do let me know and arrangements can be made to print you a replacement; charges may apply.
