These are my favourite pieces to paint. I love capturing the likeness of the child down to their tiny little toes. More than a portrait, it's a larger piece of art. This was my first painting of the series. Inspired by my friends gorgeous photograph of his little one in, one of the most picture perfect places, Hobbiton! This piece inspires so much creativity and whimsy, a pleasure to paint.
